What can be promoted?

There are two versions of "Gründungs- und Wachstumsfinanzierung Hessen (GuW Hessen)".

The version "GuW Hessen – Gründung (ERP)" addresses start-ups, freelancers as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in accordance with the EU-definition, within the first five years after starting Business operations provided. Accordingly, investments and working capital in connection with the foundation or consolidation of the Enterprise can be funded.

The version "GuW Hessen – Wachstum" addresses freelancers as well as small and medium-sized enterprises in accordance with the EU-definition, when they have been in business for five years already.

What are the terms and conditions?

The maximum loan amount is euros 1 millions per project.

For the version "GuW Hessen – Gründung (ERP)", the loan terms are five, ten and 20 years, with loan terms in between also being possible. Usually the loans provide an interes only year at the beginning. Interest and repayments is paid once monthly. The interest rates are usually lower than in the loans version "Wachstum" (Growth").

In the case of the version "GuW Hessen – Wachstum", the loan terms are five and ten years; interest and repayments are paid quarterly loan. A short loan term of two years with bullet repayment for working capital is also possible in the version "Wachstum" (Growth).

The application is submitted to a principal bank ("house bank") that can be freely chosen.
